David graduated from Sheffield University in 1981 and after hospital posts in Sheffield, Middlesborough and Hull completed his GP training in Swindon before joining the practice in 1986. He is prescribing lead for the practice and has a particular interest in long term conditions, joint problems and minor surgery. David is the GP trainer within the practice and has a keen interest in medical education being a Honorary Senior Lecturer with UEA invovled in medical student teaching. He has always had an interest in commissioning, innovation and new service delivery and has recently been appointed a GP member of The East Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group. He is married with two grown up children and is an avid Sheffield Wednesday supporter

BSc MBBS (LONDON) DRCOG FPCert QUALIFIED 1983,DFSRH. Part-time
Helen qualified from University College London in 1983 with a degree in medical and also pharmacology. She continued her training in London and was a partner there before coming to join the practice here as a partner in 1992. She is particularly keen to retain the ethos of family practice whilst engaging in advances in healthcare. Her many interests are contraception, and womens' health. She has 3 children, is a school governor and has a family farm.

BMedSci BM BS (NOTTINGHAM) QUALIFIED 1992
Luke graduated from Nottingham in 1992. He split his junior hospital jobs between the Highlands and Islands and Ipswich and went on to complete his GP training within the practice in 1997. After a spell of undertaking locum work across East Suffolk he was offered a partnership with the practice in 1999. He has two childrren, Tom and Ellie, which he enjoys spending time with.

MBBS MRCGP DCH FPCert DRCOG (LONDON) DPD QUALIFIED 1981,DFSRH. Part-time
Teresa graduated from St George's hospital London in 1981 She moved to Suffolk in 1991 and joined the Debenham practice in 1995, initially as a retained doctor and in 2000 became a part-time partner. She has 3 grown up sons and many outside interests. She loves working within the practice and is committed to continuining to improve patient care. Teresa takes a special interest in dermatology, womens' health and palliative care.

MB ChB 1989 (SHEFFIELD) MRCGP, DRCOG, DFFP. Part-time
Alison graduated from Sheffield Medical school in 1989, and came to Suffolk in 1990. She did her GP training in Ipswich, and first became involved with the practice as a trainee in 1993. Apart from a brief spell working in Stowmarket, she has worked in the practice since that time, becoming a part-time partner in 2009. She is involved in teaching medical students from UEA, and has a special interest in sexual health, having worked in the Department of Sexual Health at Ipswich Hospital for many years. She has 3 children, whom seem to keep her busy providing a personal taxi service!
